When you become a Friend of FAFV, you join a community committed to supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence, increasing offender accountability, and building a safer, more informed Uintah Basin.

Volunteer Your Time
We’re always looking for compassionate, dedicated community members to help us make a difference. Volunteers can support FAFV by:

Helping at community events or awareness tables

Assisting with service projects like organizing donation drives or facility upkeep

Supporting staff with behind-the-scenes tasks
Want to work directly with clients? Volunteers must be at least 18, complete a 40-hour training, and pass a voluntary background check. Trainings are scheduled based on interest and staff onboarding needs.

Join our Advisory Committee
Serving as an Advisory Committee or Executive Board Member at Friends Against Family Violence means playing a vital role in guiding the organization’s mission to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence. FAFV utilizes a two-tiered board structure. Executive Board and Advisory members provide strategic leadership, financial oversight, and community representation while supporting the Executive Director. This is a volunteer position for individuals passionate about building safer, more supportive communities—and committed to using their skills, networks, and resources to help FAFV thrive.
